Job summary

ANRADUS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to perform inspection, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of marine cranes and hydraulic systems on vessels, shipyards, and offshore sites, based in Jurong East.

The role requires at least 5 years in marine hydraulics, PLCs, and electrical/hydraulic diagrams, with ability to lead a team of mechanics on board or in yards; after-hours on-call and 24/7 operations support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in inspection, troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses and other hydraulic systems.
• In-depth knowledge of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes and hydraulic machinery.
• Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
• Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of marine cranes and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carry out corrective actions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and functional testing to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification, and overhaul of cranes and related equipment.
• Attend onboard vessels, shipyards, and offshore sites for service and repair work.
• Prepare service reports, inspection findings, and technical documentation after each assignment.
• Liaise with customers, vessel crew, suppliers, and internal teams on technical and service matters.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to safety procedures, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and recommend suitable repair or maintenance solutions.

Position Title: Senior Service Engineer

Working Location: Jurong East

Working Hours: 5 days, with after-hours support required for 24/7 vessel operations.

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $6,000 + Allowance + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of marine cranes and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carry out corrective actions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and functional testing to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification, and overhaul of cranes and related equipment.
• Attend onboard vessels, shipyards, and offshore sites for service and repair work.
• Prepare service reports, inspection findings, and technical documentation after each assignment.
• Liaise with customers, vessel crew, suppliers, and internal teams on technical and service matters.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to safety procedures, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and recommend suitable repair or maintenance solutions.
• Support urgent and after-hours service requirements when required by vessel operations.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years' experience in inspection, troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses & other hydraulic systems.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes & hydraulic machinery.
• Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
• Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems.
• Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage and in Ship Yards.
• Sailing experience as Electrical Officer (E/O) on bulker vessels equipped with deck cranes will be an added advantage.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) will be an added advantage.
