Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (S) Pte Ltd Singapore is seeking a SerDes Validation Engineer to drive post-silicon validation of high-speed IO interfaces. You will validate, characterize, and optimize SerDes designs, collaborating with global teams to ensure industry standards are met and performance is maximized.

The role requires strong scripting (Python, TCL), knowledge of PCIe/DisplayPort/JESD and related standards, and hands-on lab experience with oscillosopes and RF test gear.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in high-speed SerDes post-silicon validation and characterization.

Responsibilities

• Post-Silicon Validation of high-speed SerDes.
• Understand industry requirements and specifications for high-speed IO.
• Develop validation methodologies for new standards and requirements.
• Characterize latest SerDes designs.
• Collaborate with Silicon designers for SerDes debugging.
• Tune designs for optimal performance based on measurements.
• Coordinate distributed tasks with remote teams.
• Support Field Applications Engineers on customer issues related to high-speed IOs.
