Job summary

UTAC Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring timely execution and delivery.

You will prepare and maintain project documentation, review customer specifications, identify risks, develop timelines, monitor progress, and drive improvements in quality, yield, and cost.

You will support process development and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from start to completion, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project and engineering documentation.
• Review customer specifications and requirements to ensure they meet business and engineering needs.
• Identify technical issues, gaps, and risks, and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Develop project timelines, track progress, and follow up on key actions and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance, quality, yield, and delivery, and drive improvement actions when needed.
• Support process development, qualification, reliability, yield, and quality improvement activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, process capability, and cost.
• Support new product and customer projects through technical review, feasibility assessment, and problem solving.
• Investigate and resolve engineering and manufacturing issues using appropriate problem-solving methods.
• Manage changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
