Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead a small team of security engineers. You will deploy, configure, and troubleshoot managed security solutions and serve as the technical escalation point for complex incidents.

You will review plans, support projects, ensure SLAs, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with Service Delivery, SOC, Project Managers, and vendors. A bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in network or cyber security engineering.
• Experience in a Managed Security Services (MSS) or managed services environment preferred.
• Experience in supporting enterprise security technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical activities for a small team of security engineers.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot managed security solutions.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents.
• Review implementation plans, configuration changes, and technical documentation.
• Support project implementations, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh activities.
• Ensure operational activities comply with standards, processes, and SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during daily operations.
• Coordinate engineering activities with Service Delivery, SOC, Project Managers, and vendors.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident response when required.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.
