Job summary

ABPGROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a cybersecurity engineer to deliver, implement, and support enterprise security solutions across industries.

You will work with project teams to deploy secure infrastructure and security systems, and support security operations including monitoring and incident response. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years hands-on experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT, engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience in cybersecurity, infra, systems, or network engineering.
• Open to transitioning from infrastructure, systems, or software to cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, networking, OS, cloud environments, or security technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management with clear explanations.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Capable of working independently or in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize security technologies such as endpoint protection, SIEM, and identity/network security.
• Participate in system integration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Identify security gaps and implement practical improvements to enhance security posture.
• Contribute to technical documentation, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate security into environments.
• Evaluate and adopt new security tools to improve operational effectiveness and cyber resilience.

• Support security operations activities including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident investigation, and remediation
• Configure, maintain, and optimize security technologies such as endpoint protection, SIEM, identity security, network security, and related platforms
• Participate in system integration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities
• Assist in identifying security gaps and implementing practical solutions to enhance overall security posture
• Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate security into operational and application environments
• Evaluate and implement new security tools and technologies to improve operational effectiveness and cyber resilience

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, systems, or network engineering roles
• Candidates with infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or software development backgrounds who are keen to transition into cybersecurity are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, networking, operating systems, cloud environments, or security technologies
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
