Job summary

Johnson Controls in Singapore is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to lead engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of security solutions from design through to project completion.

You will work closely with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards, with travel to domestic and international sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer science, instrumentation, or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years experience installing, configuring, or servicing Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, BVMS, Interlogix, PIDS, DSC, Kantech, or HID.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms such as Software House, LenelS2, Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Senstar, and Traka.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong computer literacy including Windows, Linux, Office, LAN, and fiber optics.
• Experience in civil and electrical construction works.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with vendors and make decisions using industry-standard knowledge.
• One or more certifications in Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, or BVMS.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revu BlueBeam.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and implementation of security solutions from design through commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical managers, construction teams, commissioning engineers, clients, and vendors to meet specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation such as shop drawings, as-built drawings, and operation manuals.
• Develop system architecture, security designs, device schedules, and technical specs.
• Ensure specifications and materials align with project requirements.
• Support FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning activities and troubleshooting.
• Provide on-site support and customer relations.
