Job summary

Johnson Controls Singapore is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to manage engineering, configuration, integration, testing and commissioning of security solutions from design through to handover.

You will work closely with project managers, clients and vendors to deliver integrated systems that meet project specifications and industry standards, covering Access Control, CCTV, intrusions, intercoms, and related deployments, while promoting safety and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in installation, configuration, or servicing of Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, BVMS, Interlogix, PIDS, DSC, Kantech, or HID.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms (LenelS2, Genetec, Gallagher, Milestone, Senstar, Traka).
• Proficient English; good computer networking (Windows, Linux, LAN, fiber).
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Certifications in Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, or BVMS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide technical documentation (shop drawings, as-builts, manuals, programming matrices).
• Develop and review system architecture, security designs, device schedules, and specs.
• Ensure specifications and material orders align with project requirements.
• Collaborate with customers, SM/PM, and stakeholders to monitor progress and support installation.
• Perform inspection, setup, testing and commissioning of security installations (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Intercoms/PA, Locks).
• Support FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning activities, and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify and resolve configuration, software, and integration issues; answer technical queries.
• Promote health and safety policies across operations and contracts.
• Provide on-site placement when needed.
