Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to lead engineering, configuration, and commissioning of integrated security solutions across projects. You will coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.

The role requires hands-on testing, FAT/SAT support, and documentation of system architectures, device schedules, and technical specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in installation, configuration, or servicing of security systems.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms and certifications in Lenel OnGuard or CCURE 9000 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of security solutions from design through FAT/SAT.
• Prepare technical documentation: shop drawings, as-built drawings, operations manuals, programming matrices.
• Develop system architecture, device schedules, and technical specifications to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with customers, managers, and vendors to monitor progress and support installation.
• Perform inspection, setup, testing and commissioning of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Intercoms, and electronic locks.
