Job summary

nanhua singapore pte. ltd. is seeking a Securities Settlement Specialist to manage daily trade confirmations, settlements and reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with brokers, custodians and clients to ensure accurate processing and timely reporting of settlements. The role requires a Diploma with 5+ years in securities operations or related fields, strong English and Mandarin, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business/Banking & Finance or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in securities settlement or related back-office roles.
• Knowledge of securities settlement, trade matching and cash/securities reconciliation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and Chinese word processing.
• Good command of English and Mandarin.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
• Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for the Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily securities settlement, including trade matching, confirmation, settlement instructions and monitoring of settlement status.
• Perform daily cash and securities position reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies or failed trades.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, banks, clients and other counterparties on settlement and operational matters.
• Process clients’ securities and fund transactions and prepare daily reports and client statements.
• Assist with corporate actions and other securities-related operational activities.
• Assist in system enhancement, UAT and process improvement projects.
• Ensure daily operations are conducted accurately and in accordance with internal procedures and relevant market requirements.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
