Job summary

Illumina Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Scientist in ACE to drive reference workflows for strategic customers. You will design and deploy end-to-end automation solutions spanning library prep, liquid handling, LIMS integration, and data analysis.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Informatics, Engineering, and Commercial teams to enable rapid adoption of Illumina technologies.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of NGS, library prep, automation, LIMS and downstream analysis.
• Hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting automated liquid handling systems; Hamilton VENUS preferred.
• Strong multi-tasking and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, verification, and deployment of reference workflows across library prep and automation.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot automated workflows with emphasis on scripting and liquid handling platforms.
• Serve as SME for automation and workflow integration across instrumentation, software, and processes.
• Design and execute workflow verification studies and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Informatics, Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams.
