Job summary

Illumina Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Manager/Staff Scientist to lead the Applications and Customer Enablement (ACE) team regionally. You will guide priorities, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive delivery of customer-focused workflow solutions across genomics and NGS platforms.

The role partners with regional and global teams to accelerate adoption of Illumina technologies, build strong customer relationships, and shape strategy.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in a customer-facing scientific environment.
• Strong understanding of genomics workflows including NGS, automation, LIMS, bioinformatics, and data analysis.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and aligning priorities across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of scientists; foster a high-performing culture.
• Provide leadership in workflow integration, automation, informatics, and LIMS-enabled solutions across disciplines.
• Coordinate priorities with ACE leadership and execute regional and global objectives; represent ACE in the region.
