Job summary

MINDEF Defence Safety Division seeks a senior safety leader to oversee safety for Defence Cyber Command, ensuring a safe and compliant environment across its operations. Qualifications

• Education in safety-related fields with professional certifications (WSH or CSP).
• At least 10 years of relevant workplace safety experience.
• Strong leadership and decisive decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to Commanders on safety-related matters, including routine monitoring, inspections, audits, and safety education to all entities within the Command; ensure lessons learned from incidents are applied to determine causal factors and preventive measures.
• Report on incidents, near misses, hazard reports, and safe/unsafe practices; evaluate to identify causal factors and implement preventive measures.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and report confidently to senior management.
