The role requires at least 2 years in safety management, a relevant degree, and professional certification. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to coordinate trainings and audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• OSHA or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in safety management.
• Healthcare industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace and environmental inspections to identify hazards.
• Develop, implement, and review safety policies and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and preventive measures.
• Identify and evaluate workplace risks and implement risk controls.
• Deliver safety induction programmes for new employees.
• Provide staff with safety training and awareness programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and requirements.
• Conduct internal safety audits and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
• Provide secretariat support to safety committees.
