is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to oversee safety operations at a dedicated worksite, ensuring compliance with all regulations and fostering a culture of safety among employees. You will implement comprehensive safety programs, conduct risk assessments, lead safety training, investigate incidents, and coordinate with the project team to prevent injuries and incidents, while maintaining accurate records and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments.
• Experience creating and delivering training programs.
• Detail-oriented with keen attention to safety compliance.
• Proactive person who anticipates risks and mitigates them.
• Team player capable of cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to prevent injuries and accidents
• Ensure adherence to local safety regulations, WSH and OSH standards
• Develop designs, methods, risk assessments, specifications, and plans for working with the project team
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures
• Organize and lead safety training sessions for employees to educate them on safe work practices and emergency procedures
• Conduct safety inspections on all job sites to ensure safety procedures are in place
• Investigate workplace incidents to determine causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure site readiness
• Review and update accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities, and prepare reports for management review or the project team
