AIS-HILL PTE. LTD.

in Singapore is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer (M&E) to lead the M&E supervision on major building projects, ensuring compliance with codes, quality standards, and safety, while coordinating with QP(MEP). The role requires a PEBC Singapore-recognised ME&E degree, preferably a Registered Resident Engineer with IES, with at least 10 years in M&E building services and 8 years on sizable projects.

Qualifications

• PEB-recognised Mechanical and Electrical Engineering degree.
• Preferably Registered Resident Engineer with IES.
• Minimum 10 years of M&E building services experience in construction.
• At least 8 years on large projects with buildings or utilities works.
• Proficient in coordinating multi-disciplinary integration across trades.

Responsibilities

• Manage M&E supervision team to monitor, supervise and inspect works directed by QP(MEP).
• Plan roster shifts and ensure welfare of personnel.
• Work with QP(D)/QP(S) to resolve M&E design and technical issues.
• Lead and resolve integration and interfacing issues across trades.
• Maintain familiarity with codes, QC procedures and progress reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mechanical and Electrical Engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board(PEB) of Singapore
• Preferably accredited asa Registered Resident Engineer with IES
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in M&E building services in building construction industry
• At least 8 years on projects similar in size and complexity: major construction works in buildings or utilities services laying, testing, and commissioning
• Proficient in coordinating multi-disciplinary integration between trades and packages

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage M&E Supervision team to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by QP(MEP)
• Plan roster shift duties and ensure welfare of personnel
• Work with QP(D)/QP(S) to resolve M&E design and technical issues
• Lead and resolve integration and interfacing issues across trades
• Conversant with statutory codes, quality control procedures, and progress reporting

Preferred / Advantageous Licensed Electrical Worker and/or Licensed Plumber preferred
