Job summary

A construction firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore. The ideal candidate must have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years experience. Duties include preparing tenders, cost analysis, negotiating with contractors, and managing budgets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and bilingual communication in English and Chinese are essential. This role demands a proactive and meticulous approach to project procurement and administration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience for Quantity Surveyor.
  • Good working knowledge of interior fit-out works or additions and alterations works.
  • Good working knowledge of additions and alterations works.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit tenders including quantity taking off and pricing.
  • Involved in cost analysis and contracts administration.
  • Lead price negotiations for trade contractors.
  • Establish procurement strategies and execute all necessary procurement.
  • Prepare tender documents, tender evaluation reports, variation agreements.
  • Preparation of budgets and keep track of project expenditures.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claim.
  • Process claims and contractual payment.
  • Negotiate and award sub-contracts.
  • Prepare and manage Variation Orders with Clients and sub-contractors.
  • Attend project meetings and tender interviews.
