Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior/Quantity Surveyor (Tender) to join our Tender Team. You will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and supporting the successful bidding of construction projects by ensuring competitive pricing, compliance with client requirements, and effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Work location: Clementi area

Key Responsibilities

• Study and analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and contract conditions.
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and models (including digital take-off tools, such as Cubicost or CostX).
• Prepare preliminary cost estimates and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Source and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze cost data from past projects and update internal pricing databases.
• Identify potential cost risks and propose value engineering options.
• Ensure costing aligns with contractual requirements and project specifications.
• Liaise with internal departments (engineering, procurement, planning) for technical inputs and project requirements.
• Attend tender clarification meetings and site visits when necessary. Prepare and compile tender submission documents including BOQ, pricing schedules, and supporting data.
• Ensure all documentation complies with client requirements and submission deadlines.
• Any other duties assigned by superior.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and above in International Finance, Economics Policy Concentration, Quality Surveyor
• Experience in private equity, consulting, or trade finance with proven project leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and policy analysis.
• Experience in tender management, investment negotiations, and cross-border business development.
• Excellent communication with ability to present to senior executives and global partners.
• International experience through collaboration with global research institutions, and multinational enterprises.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
• Candidates with extensive experience and a proven track record will be considered for a Senior position.
