CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Tender QS) to join the Tender Team. You will help prepare accurate cost estimates, manage tender submissions, and support competitive bidding for construction projects with careful cost control and compliance with client requirements.

• Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience in cost estimation and pricing.
• Familiarity with tender management and contract conditions.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural teams.

Mansioni

• Study tender documents and prepare cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and models using Cubicost/CostX.
• Prepare tender submissions including BOQ and pricing schedules.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Tender QS) to join our Tender Team . You will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and supporting the successful bidding of construction projects by ensuring competitive pricing, compliance with client requirements, and effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Work location: Clementi area

Key Responsibilities

• Study and analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and contract conditions.
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and models (including digital take-off tools, such as Cubicost or CostX).
• Prepare preliminary cost estimates and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Source and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze cost data from past projects and update internal pricing databases.
• Identify potential cost risks and propose value engineering options.
• Ensure costing aligns with contractual requirements and project specifications.
• Liaise with internal departments (engineering, procurement, planning) for technical inputs and project requirements.
• Attend tender clarification meetings and site visits when necessary. Prepare and compile tender submission documents including BOQ, pricing schedules, and supporting data.
• Ensure all documentation complies with client requirements and submission deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and policy analysis.
• Experience in tender management, investment negotiations, and cross-border business development.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and multicultural environments.
• Candidates with extensive experience and a proven track record will be considered for a Senior position.
