Job summary

HWA SENG BUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity take-offs and cost estimation for tenders and projects. You will prepare tender submissions and negotiate with specialists, suppliers and subcontractors to drive competitive bids.

Responsibilities include monthly progress claims and finalizing project accounts with clients and subcontractors. Diploma or degree in Building/QS/Civil/Structural Eng is required, with 3+ years in construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in Building/Quantity Surveying/Civil/Structural Engineering.
• At least 3 years in construction; senior QS if more experience.
• Independent with good problem solving and team player.
• Experience with tendering, cost estimation and progress claims.

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma or degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant working experience in Construction sector
• Candidates with substantial years of experience will be considered for the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Good knowledge of construction sequences and material trends
• Independent with excellent problem solving skills, detailed and a good team player
