Job summary

BEIJING URBAN CONSTRUCTION GROUP CO., LTD. (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking a Cost Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to prepare estimates, BOQs, and budgets for construction projects. You will manage tendering, monitor costs, conduct site valuations, and liaise with contractors and clients on cost-related issues.

The role requires 3+ years in the construction industry, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in construction cost management.
• Knowledge of cost control and budgeting.
• Familiarity with tendering and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for construction projects.

• Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.
• Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and risks to senior management.
• Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts for project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry;
• Good knowledge of construction sequences and material trends;
• Independent with excellent problem-solving skills, detailed and a good team player;
• Salary package commensurate with experience.
