Job summary

Gin Chia Co Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement activities in Singapore. You will assist in preparing contracts and cost reports, coordinating with subcontractors, and handling billing and payment verifications.

The role requires 3–5 years of QS experience and a relevant diploma/degree. Strong leadership and proactive attitude are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Responsibilities

• Assist Contract Manager with cost estimates and cost management
• Prepare contracts and related documents
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and procurement
• Assist in budget preparation and cost presentation
• Assist in billings and progress payments evaluation
• Evaluate progress payments, VOs and cost-benefit analyses
• Perform variation orders as needed
• Verify subcontractors' monthly progress claims and obtain approvals for payments

Job description

• Prepare contracts and documents.


• Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotation and procurement


• Assist in budget preparation and cost presentation

• Evaluate progress payment and VOs and cost-benefit analysis


• Perform variation order


• To verify subcontractors’ / suppliers’ monthly progressive claims and obtain approval before proceeding to prepare payment certificates.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / Building / Quantity Surveying


• 3 to 5 years of work experience as a Quantity Surveyor


• Responsible, positive work attitude and good leadership skills
