Job summary

Soletanche Bachy Singapore is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor with strong contract administration experience on major infrastructure projects. The role focuses on claims, payment certification, sub-contractor management, and timely final accounts.

Candidates should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, bring at least 15 years of relevant experience including main contractor exposure and MRT/LTA project familiarity, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and excel

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, with main contractor experience preferred.
• Must have LTA MRT project experience.
• Meticulous and detailed oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contractual correspondence with Project Manager, submit claims notices promptly and in accordance with contractual timetable.
• Prepare and submit payment applications on due date, follow-up applications to ensure promote certificate and payment, and ensure final accounts are submitted in a timely manner and are agreed to maximum value.
• Prepare works orders for sub-contractors, prepare monthly payments and settle sub-contractors final accounts.
• Prepare monthly sales figures for Project Manager agreement and report monthly sub-contractor liabilities.
• Measurement and submission of price fluctuation adjustment claims.
• Evaluate suppliers, sub-contractors, service provider claims and analysis of variation orders.
• Executes various types of measurements in civil works, including traffic diversion, drainage diversion, plumbing and sanitary, addition and alteration, architectural works, and reinforced concrete works.
• Ensure insurance claims are notified promptly and claim particulars are submitted on time.
• Prepares schedule of rates
