Job summary

Osca Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Lead Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial activities on multiple construction projects in Singapore.

You will manage pre- and post-tender processes, review contracts, and supervise the commercial team to ensure cost discipline and contractual compliance. The role requires a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field, at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction, and strong skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and reading engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage pre and post tender activities including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Prepare and review contracts, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Monitor and control project budgets, implementing cost-saving and value engineering measures.
• Conduct site surveys and participate in measurements and valuations with clients and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with sales, design and project teams on all contractual and M&E matters.
• Analyze tender returns for cost competitiveness and contractual compliance.
• Support project teams with technical proposals, progress tracking, and resolution of contractual issues.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial team, providing strategic direction, performance oversight, and ensuring best commercial practices are consistently applied across all projects.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm

7. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

8. Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
