Nippon Builders PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Degree or Diploma holder in Building/Quantity Surveying with 6 years of relevant experience to join our project teams.

The role involves budgeting, tendering, cost control, subcontract management and high attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle. You will prepare bills of quantities, monitor cash flow, coordinate with consultants and clients for progress claims, and ensure timely completion of tender and variation processes.

Formación

• Degree/ Diploma in Building or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure.
• A1 MainCon experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare project budgets and cashflow projections.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claims and monitor against cash flow projection.
• Check tender documents for completeness and update amendments and corrigenda.
• Identify discrepancies and raise tender queries.
• Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Coordinate tender submissions, including quotations, PQM, and post-tender questionnaires.
• Solicit subcontract quotations, prepare cost comparisons, and support negotiation and award.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and certify payments.
• Track and submit variation orders and liaise with consultants on assessments.
• Negotiate with consultants and clients for final accounts and settlements.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager and management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare project budget and cashflow.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claim and monitor against cash flow projection
• Check tender documents for completeness and update tender amendment and corrigendum.
• Check for discrepancy and raise tender query.
• Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities
• Prepare and compilation for tender submission including calling of quotations, pricing, compilation of PQM, post tender questionnaires
• Calling of subcontract quotations, preparation of cost comparison, reports, negotiation, recommendation to award and preparation of subcontract agreement
• Evaluation of subcontractor’s claim and certification of payment.
• Track and submit variation orders, liaise with consultants for assessment
• Liaise and negotiate with consultants and client for finalization of accounts
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager & management.

Requirements:

• 6 years relevant experience
