Job summary

WELLBUILT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead cost estimation and tender administration for complex projects in Singapore.

The role focuses on quantity take-offs, preparation of tender documents, budgets, and bills of quantities, with close collaboration to project managers and site visits to monitor progress and variations. You'll forecast material costs, engage in claims discussions, and maximize entitlements for incurred costs, while visiting sites to verify progress

Qualifications

Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer or equivalent.
At least 5 years of relative work experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Compute comprehensive quantity take-off of structural, civil, and externals.
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
Assist the Project Manager in reconciliation & certification of final bills of contractors, suppliers, vendors, and consultants of the project.
Forecast the cost of different materials needed for the project.
Track changes in the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
Engage in claims discussions.
Updating anticipated contract value.
Maximizing entitlements & recovery of claimable costs incurred.
Visiting the site periodically to view progress & possible variations.
Costing of variations & new rates.
