Job summary

MEIDA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to lead budget estimation, cost checks, and tender submissions for Singapore construction projects.

You will review specs and drawings to define scope and costing, manage contractual requirements and VO, and monitor progress costs to keep projects on budget. The role requires a Diploma or higher in Building Construction/Civil Engineering, at least 5 years in Singapore construction, and strong time management

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in building/construction engineering.
• Degree in Building Construction or Civil Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for budget estimate, cost checking, preparation of tender submission
• Review specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and costing structures
• Manage submission works, contractual requirements and VO
• Handle progress claim, progress payment & finalization of accounts
• Carry out quantity take-off for tendering and on-going projects
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary
• Monitor actual construction vs contract work quantity to ensure cost is managed within budget throughout the project
• Assist on project scheduling
• Attend project/site meeting with customer, consultant and vendors
