Job summary

AWIN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tender estimation, quantity take-off, cost planning and subcontracting in a fast-paced, multi-racial environment.

You will also handle variation orders, final accounts, and monthly progress claims with clients. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with at least 3 years in tendering and QS roles, is adept at reading drawings, and has strong costing and contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of tendering and quantity surveying experience.
• Able to read and understand drawings well.
• Knowledge of costing and estimating construction projects.
• Knowledge of standard contracts and sub-contracts.
• Knowledge of structural steelworks is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tender estimation and costing.
• Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, variation orders and final accounts with clients.
• Review progress of ongoing projects and prepare monthly progress claims; evaluate/subcontractors' claims.
• Undertaking duties/assignments as assigned by the HOD/Superior.
