Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our project-cost team in Singapore. The role focuses on cost management across the full project lifecycle, from BOQ preparation to final accounts.

You will collaborate with consultants, main contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost reporting, timely progress claims, and robust contract administration. Applicants should have strong analytical and negotiation skills and a consultancy background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in a consultancy.
• PSPC-recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Professional qualifications such as SISV, AIQS, or RICS are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of take-offs, BOQ prep, cost estimation, progress claims, VO, and final accounts.
• Experience in contract administration and project documentation.
• Experience with consultancy firms is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Independent worker who collaborates well with a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and manage Variation Order (VO) works for subcontract packages.
• Measure, price, and evaluate contract VO claims.
• Process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and maintain project documentation.
• Perform remeasurement for subcontractor payments and final account settlements.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgetary cost reports.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on project cost matters.
• Obtain supplier quotations and support procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organised project documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Quantity Surveyors where required.
