Job summary

greyform pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead tendering, cost control and contract administration in Singapore. You will manage pre-tender through post-contract stages, analyze pricing, and coordinate with main contractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids and compliant contracts.

The role requires 5+ years of QS experience, knowledge of SOP, and strong communication and analytical skills to support project budgeting and final account closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Building or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant QS experience in precast concrete or construction.
• Knowledge of Security of Payments Acts (SOP).

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-tender to post-contract stages, monitor risk and cost.
• Respond to tender enquiries, prepare tender pricing analysis.
• Highlight deviations during tender stage and clarify with Main Contractors.
• Submit tenders, manage contracts and advise on contractual matters.
• Coordinate site visits for pre-tendering details.
• Prepare Tender Analysis for submissions.
• Prepare contract documents, quantity take-off, monitor variations and cost information.
• Prepare project budget for management approval.
• Organize kick-off meetings with departments on schedule and procurement.
• Source pricing for materials/subcontract work and cost comparisons.
• Arrange tender interviews, negotiate prices with suppliers and sub-contractors; prepare sub-contract agreements.
• Respond to subcontractors' progress claims; issue payments within SOP.
