Job summary

CONSTRUCT PEOPLE PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist the Costs & Contracts Manager in guiding the cost team and overseeing tendering, budgets and progress payments. You will work closely with the project team to ensure quotations meet specifications and to manage subcontracts.

The role requires a degree/diploma in QS, at least 5 years’ experience, and strong skills in MS Excel and AutoCAD. Independent work with minimal supervision is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Building/Quantity Surveying is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying or cost control.
• Proven experience in contracts administration and tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing cost budgets and cash-flow for projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, track design/construction changes and adjust budgets.
• Prepare extension of time and cost claims (VO).
• Coordinate with project team to ensure timely subcontractor awards.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids and negotiate subcontract awards.
• Attend site/technical meetings and review subcontractor/ supplier agreements.
• Certify and evaluate progress payments and final accounts.
