Job summary

HYUNDAI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for subcontract management in Singapore. You will carry out quantity take-offs based on drawings, review payment claims, and support contract administration on site.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 3+ years as QS, and strong communication with clients, subcontractors, designers, planners and construction teams to resolve issues and keep progress on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ working experience as QS.
• Ability to communicate with Client/Subcontractor/Design/Planning/Construction teams on contract issues.
• Negotiation with Subcontractor for settlements.
• Focus on site issues to prevent hindrance to progress.
• Self-motivated with good leadership.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quantity take-off based on drawings.
• Processing of payments and payment related tasks.
• Review Subcontractor’s payment claims and prepare payment responses.
• Budgetary review of Subcontractor’s claims.
• Manage Subcontract issues.
• Reports to the Subcontracts Manager.
