BHD CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Singapore. You will manage all cost-related aspects of construction contracts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

The role requires strong contract knowledge, cost control and clear communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, drafting and negotiating bills of quantities, monitoring costs, and advising project teams to prevent overruns.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction management discipline.
• Chartered / Professional Quantity Surveyor status preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, bills of quantities, and related documentation
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders
• Identify and manage potential cost overruns, variations, and claims
• Provide expert advice to project managers and the wider construction team
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, laws, and company policies
