HOCKLIM ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to source quotations, prepare comparisons, negotiate and award contracts in Singapore.

The role covers payment responses, sub-contractor claims, variation orders, and final accounts, with contract administration to keep projects within budget. The candidate will monitor material deliveries, coordinate procurement, and liaise with consultants, authorities, and internal teams on project development and technical issues.

Qualifications

Document control skill required.

Responsibilities

To source for quotations from specialists/ sub-contractors/ suppliers, prepare comparison, negotiate, and award contracts.
To prepare payment response to the subcontractors' monthly claim, monthly progress claim, certify subcontractors' progress payments, prepare variation orders, finalize accounts.
To administer contracts of all values and ensure that they are completed within budget.
To ensure proper documentation of all records.
To review and advise Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specifications.
To monitor and ensure delivery of materials are in accordance with contractual requirements.
To coordinate site issues including procurement of materials from the suppliers.
To liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, and internal departments in resolving project development and technical issues.
