Job summary

ASIAWORLD CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Administrator in Singapore to support tendering, budgeting, and subcontractor management.

You will prepare costings, monitor budgets, handle payment claims, and generate regular reports. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Civil Engineering/Building/Quantity Surveying with at least two years in construction, strong MS Office skills, and good communication and negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Building/ Quantity Surveying is required.
• Two years of construction experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and CCS PO/ WO module.
• Able to write reports and deliver presentations.
• Knowledge of cost management and budgeting is preferred.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• ISO Internal Auditor certification is a plus.
• Singaporean nationality only.

Responsibilities

• Take-off quantities and pricing for tender/quotations.
• Execute general contracts administration duties.
• Evaluate and compare subcontractors’ quotations.
• Prepare and monitor project budget.
• Prepare and monitor subcontracting and purchases documents.
• Prepare and monitor progress claims and subcontractor payments.
• Prepare and update claims/costing/budget and payment receipts monthly.

• Taking-off quantities and Pricing for Tender / Quotations;
• Execution of general Contracts Administration duties;
• Evaluate and compare Subcontractors’ quotations;
• Prepare and monitor Project Budget;
• Preparation of Subcontracting and Purchases Document;
• Prepare and monitor Progress Claims and Subcontractor Payment;
• Prepare and update Claims/ Costing/ Budget and Payment Receipt monthly.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Building/ Quantity Surveying
• Min 2 years experience in construction industry
• Able to use Microsoft Office, CCS PO/ WO Module
• Able to write reports and presentation
• Basic knowledge in Cost Management and Control Techniques
• Able to communicate at all levels
• Good negotiation skills
• Preferably with ISO Internal Auditor Certification
• Open to Singaporean only
