Job summary

Leading A1 Main Contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and contract administration for large LTA civil infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role focuses on progress claims, final accounts, cost control, and procurement across the full project lifecycle.

The position requires a Diploma/Degree in QS or related fields and at least 3 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with MRT and tunnelling works. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience; senior roles need stronger commercial exposure.
• Experience with LTA MRT Stations, Underground Structures, Tunnelling or major civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of post-contract administration, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Familiarity with tendering, cost estimation, subcontractor procurement and construction contracts.
• Good commercial awareness, negotiation and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and QS software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate progress claims, variation orders and final accounts for subcontractors and clients.
• Handle tender documentation, cost estimates, quotations and subcontractor procurement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project budgets, cost reports and cash flow, ensuring effective commercial and cost control.
• Review subcontractor claims, contractual obligations and payment certifications in accordance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants and subcontractors to resolve contractual and commercial matters.

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Working Week: Monday - Friday, 5 Days per Week

Salary: Up to SGD 7,000 per Month (Highly Negotiable)
