Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to prepare and analyze cost comparisons, liaise with suppliers, and manage contract negotiations. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Building and have at least 4 years in main-construction companies, demonstrating strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. This role requires a meticulous and proactive team player capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in main-construction companies.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation and administration.
• Meticulous and proactive, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities and take-offs.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, and payments.
