Job summary

LC&T BUILDER (1971) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost comparisons, obtain quotations, and liaise with subcontractors. You will measure quantities, prepare variation orders, final accounts, and manage subcontractor payments with a detail-focused approach.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of QS experience in main-contracting and can work independently while meeting tight deadlines within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building or its equivalent.
• 5+ years experience as QS in main-construction companies.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical with problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons.
• Obtain quotations and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers; negotiate terms.
• Measure quantities and perform take-offs.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts and sub-contractor payments.
• Handle all other QS-related tasks.
