Job summary

STAFFHUB GROUP PTE. LTD. seeks a QA/QC professional to monitor subcontractor work quality and implement QA/QC plans ensuring CONQUAS targets are met. You will coordinate with stakeholders to deliver successful project handovers and manage non-conformances through corrective actions.

The role requires Diploma or Degree in Civil Structural Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience and hands-on QA/QC experience on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor subcontractor work quality and rectify defects to meet project standards
• Develop and implement QA/QC plans to maintain project quality
• Prepare QA/QC reports and assist in submissions
• Execute quality control based on PQP and site requirements
• Issue and manage Site Memos for non-conformances and corrective actions
• Coordinate with external bodies for CONQUAS assessments
• Verify method statements have client and consultant approvals
• Manage tests according to contract specifications and ITP
• Participate in QAQC and Client meetings to drive quality improvements
• Lead subcontractor defect clearance and CONQUAS target achievement
• Oversee project handover to ensure quality standards are met

Job Summary

You will monitor subcontractor work quality, implement QA/QC plans, and ensure defect rectification to meet project standards and CONQUAS targets, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver successful project handovers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor subcontractor workers across all trades to identify defects and ensure proper rectification for quality compliance
• Develop and implement effective QA/QC plans to maintain consistent project quality standards
• Prepare clear and accurate QA/QC reports and assist in quality management submissions
• Execute quality control based on site-specific materials and the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
• Issue and manage Site Memos to communicate non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive measures
• Oversee and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for identified non-conformities
• Coordinate with external bodies such as BCA for CONQUAS assessments to achieve quality certification targets
• Verify that all method statements have client and consultant approvals before site implementation
• Manage and follow up on all required tests according to contract specifications and Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
• Actively participate in regular site meetings including QAQC, Landscape Coordination, and Client Meetings to contribute to quality improvements
• Manage subcontractors to clear defects and achieve required CONQUAS target
• Lead project handover processes ensuring all quality standards are met

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
