Job summary

kaszon pte ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior QAQC Engineer to lead quality assurance on large-scale building projects. You will perform daily QAQC checks, prepare monthly reports for the Corporate QAQC Department, and conduct monthly training for subcontractors to uphold strict quality standards.

You will issue non-conformances, attend regular QAQC meetings, and coordinate with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments.

Qualifications

• Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience.
• Min 5 years’ experience as a Senior QAQC Engineer in large-scale building main construction projects.
• Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for a managerial role.
• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance.
• Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
• Hospital experience will be an advantage.

• -Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants)
• -Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments. Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.
• -Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or even conducting relevant training as needed.

Job Requirements

• -Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience
• -Min 5 years’ experience as a Senior QAQC Engineer in large-scale building main construction projects (e.g. A1 contractors).with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage
• -Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for a managerial role
• -Able to communicate effectively and clearly
• -Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
• -Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary
• -Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
