Job summary

CSC Enterprise (S'pore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior QAQC Engineer to lead quality assurance on large-scale building projects in Singapore.

You will conduct daily QAQC checks, prepare reports, and train sub-contractors. Candidates with architectural or structural training and at least 5 years of senior QAQC experience, with CONQUAS/ISO 9001 familiarity, may progress to managerial roles. You will collaborate with site teams, clients, and consultants to ensure compliance and timely quality

Qualifications

• Architectural or structural training with related work experience.
• Minimum 5 years as Senior QAQC Engineer on large-scale building projects.
• Strong candidates may be considered for a managerial role.
• Effective communication, independence, meticulous, analytical with deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of QA/QC and CONQUAS/ISO 9001:2015 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QAQC daily checks.
• Prepare monthly QAQC report for Corporate QAQC Department.
• Conduct monthly QAQC training to sub-contractors.
• Issue QAQC non-compliance to sub-contractors.
• Attend monthly QAQC presentations and meetings at Corporate QAQC Department.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works comply with method statements and CONQUAS standards.
• Arrange liaising with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments and update clients/consultants on QA/QC matters.
• Work with site engineers to ensure construction methods meet CONQUAS specifications and provide training as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting monthly QAQC Training to Sub-contractors
• Issuance of QAQC Non-compliance to sub-contractors
• Attend monthly QAQC presentation and meeting at Corporate QAQC Department
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants)
• Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments. Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.
• Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or even conducting relevant training as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience
• Min 5 years’ experience as a Senior QAQC Engineer in large-scale building main construction projects (e.g. A1 contractors).with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage
• Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for a managerial role
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary
• Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
