Job summary

ABeam Consulting Singapore is seeking a senior QA Lead to drive comprehensive testing across enterprise-scale projects. You will develop QA plans, lead testing strategies, and ensure quality gates align with business goals.

The role covers API, UI, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security testing with a strong focus on automation and CI/CD integration. You will coordinate UAT with stakeholders, manage defects, and report quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality management for enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading QA activities across large-scale software delivery projects.
• Experience developing and governing QA Plans and Master Test Plans.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience in test planning, test design, test execution, and test management.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and automation best practices.
• Experience in API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing methodologies.
• Experience working with Agile and DevOps delivery teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering projects for public sector organizations, or large enterprises.
• Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or equivalent quality assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Assurance (QA) Plan and Master Test Plan.
• Define testing strategies, methodologies, quality gates, and acceptance criteria aligned with project objectives.
• Analyze requirements to ensure clear, testable, measurable, and verifiable testing.
• Design and implement comprehensive testing approaches covering Unit, API, Integration, System, End-to-End, Regression, Performance, Security, and UAT testing.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and scripts; integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute manual and automated testing across releases; perform exploratory, functional, usability, and cross-browser testing.
• Coordinate system integration testing with stakeholders; validate data exchanges and interfaces; track UAT issues to sign-off.
• Present test results and quality reviews to stakeholders; provide guidance on automated testing execution and validation.
