PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Purchasing Officer to source and develop suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage RFQs within a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes cost reduction, quality, and contract review to protect company interests.

The candidate will handle daily POs, coordinate changes with internal teams, and resolve supply-related issues in a fast-paced electronics setting, while maintaining strong English communication.

Qualifikationen

• Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant electronics/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with sourcing, supplier development, RFQ management, and cost negotiation.
• Purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Proficient in SAP; able to multitask under pressure.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Source and develop alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risks following RFQs.
• Focus on reducing costs and minimizing price increases without compromising quality or compliance.
• Review terms in quotations and contracts; negotiate favorable terms.
• Resolve supply-related issues including cargo damage, delays/early shipments, and payment verification with Accounting.
• Process daily purchase orders; coordinate spec/drawing changes with internal customers; ensure compliance with procedures.
• Prepare summary reports and handle ad hoc requests.

Senior Purchasing Officer / Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and develop alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risks upon receiving RFQs from internal customers.
• Focus on reducing costs and minimizing price increases without compromising quality or compliance.
• Review the terms and conditions in quotations and contracts and negotiate terms that are in the company's best interests.
• Resolve supply-related issues within the appropriate level of authority, including cargo damage, delayed or early shipments, and payment verification with the Accounting Department.
• Process daily purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations and amendments; Coordinate specification or drawing changes with internal customers and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures.
• Prepare summary reports and handle any other ad hoc requests as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree is preferred
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational company within the electronics/manufacturing industry .
• Experience in sourcing, supplier development, RFQ management, cost negotiation, and contract review.
• Must have purchasing/procurement experience within a manufacturing environment .
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a team and a proactive approach to preventing errors and solving problems.
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
