Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks an experienced public affairs professional to represent the group with government agencies, regulators and key external stakeholders. You will monitor developments and provide clear analyses on potential business impact to senior management.

You will build relationships with policymakers and regulators, and design engagement programmes across regulators, policymakers and industry bodies, while identifying opportunities to interact with public sector organisations.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of experience in government, public policy or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of policy, regulatory frameworks and legislative processes.
• Integrity, discretion and professional ethics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical, results-oriented with strong execution capabilities.
• Political agility and strong negotiation/relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the group in engagements with government agencies, regulatory bodies and key external stakeholders.
• Monitor policy, regulatory and legislative developments relevant to the organisation's objectives.
• Provide analysis and insights on potential business impact of developments to management.
• Identify and foster relationships with senior policymakers, regulators and legislators.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement programmes with regulators, policymakers and industry bodies.
• Proactively identify opportunities to engage with external stakeholders and public sector organisations.
