Job summary

Ministry of Finance (Singapore) SRP Directorate seeks a Senior Associate/Associate to work with public sector leaders on complex issues, shaping policies and programmes across security, technology and community verticals.

You will evaluate viability of projects, develop strategies, and lead negotiations with agency partners while building networks across MOF-wide assignments. A strong analytic mind and clear writing are essential in this dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Economics, Finance/ Statistics/ Accounting, Public Policy is helpful.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Comfortable with quantitative information and able to present information and data through charts, graphs, and models.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to domestic security, national defence and foreign relations initiatives with MOF and partner agencies.
• Ensuring the effectiveness of Organs of State, including legal and statutory institutions.
• Advancing Singapore's Smart Nation agenda through digital transformation and AI strategy.
• Building community resilience and governance over public service media and philanthropy initiatives.
• Strengthening centre-of-government coherence for whole-of-government planning and execution.
