Job summary

Equinix Asia Pacific seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Public Affairs to shape how Equinix is understood and trusted across the APAC region. You will lead region-wide communications, differentiating Equinix as a responsible long-term partner, and work with Public Policy and PR to align day-to-day messaging.

You will build relationships with community and industry stakeholders, manage events, monitor risks, and coordinate with global teams to ensure messaging consistency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in public affairs or related field with a focus on stakeholder, community, or issues-driven communications
• Proven track record of shaping reputation or narrative for a complex, scrutinized or infrastructure-intensive business
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, or related field

Responsibilities

• Develop regional public affairs strategy that positions the company as a responsible leader in the data center industry
• Localize global narratives into market-specific messaging frameworks for APAC markets
• Translate complex technical topics into clear, credible stories for non-technical audiences
• Partner with regional leadership to ensure data center projects launch with prepared community narratives
• Build and maintain relationships with community, civic, industry, and opinion-leader stakeholders
• Counsel senior leaders on reputational risk and stakeholder perception
• Coordinate with Public Policy, PR, Sustainability, and global teams to align priorities
