Job summary

RICH INNOVATION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an accomplished Senior Project Manager to direct fire-protection and M&E construction programs.

You will lead project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and on-site teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities include developing execution plans, budgets and schedules; coordinating with clients, authorities and suppliers; and ensuring compliance with Singapore Fire Code, SCDF/FSSD and project

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in fire-protection or M&E construction project delivery.
• At least 5 years of experience in a project manager or senior project manager role.
• Proven experience managing multiple construction projects concurrently.
• Proven experience leading project managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of fire-protection systems (sprinkler, wet-riser, dry-riser, hose-reel).
• Practical knowledge of Singapore Fire Code, SCDF/FSSD processes, inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, procurement, variations and progress claims.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10 years PM experience in fire protection and M&E services.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager (preferred).
• Other construction safety/quality certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor multiple fire-protection and M&E construction projects concurrently.
• Lead project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Develop project execution plans, master programmes, budgets, resource plans and procurement schedules.
• Allocate manpower, materials and subcontractors according to project priorities.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, variations, progress claims, risks and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, Qualified Persons, suppliers and relevant authorities.
• Oversee shop-drawing coordination, material submissions, method statements, inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage sprinkler, wet-riser, dry-riser, hose-reel and fire-alarm interface works.
• Ensure compliance with the Singapore Fire Code, SCDF/FSSD requirements, project specifications, quality requirements and workplace safety regulations.
• Resolve technical, commercial, coordination and site issues affecting project delivery.
• Review project-team and subcontractor performance and implement corrective measures.
• Provide management reports covering project progress, financial position, resource requirements and key risks.

Essential Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in fire-protection or M&E construction project delivery.
• At least 5 years of experience in a project manager, senior project manager or equivalent leadership position.
• Proven experience managing multiple construction projects concurrently.
• Proven experience leading project managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of fire-protection systems, including sprinkler, wet-riser, dry-riser and hose-reel systems.
• Practical knowledge of Singapore Fire Code, SCDF/FSSD processes, inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Experience in project budgeting, cost control, procurement, variations, progress claims and subcontractor management.
• Ability to demonstrate completed projects, responsibilities, contract values and project-team sizes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant project-management experience in fire protection and M&E services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Fire Safety Manager qualification.
• Relevant construction safety, project-management or quality-management certification.
