Job summary

VSTAR CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Operations / Project Manager to oversee project operations, customer relationships, quality, resources and delivery across multiple projects.

You will lead end-to-end project operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, ensure QA/QC, safety and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement to achieve client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in Operations / Project Management.
• Strong Singapore construction/project experience preferred.
• Experience in Fire Protection, M&E, Building Services or related construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and site teams.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience managing project budgets, procurement, manpower, subcontractors and project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, NCR management, RCA and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project operations, from planning and mobilization through execution, testing, commissioning and final handover.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring schedule, quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Lead and coordinate teams across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Logistics and Site Operations.
• Manage manpower planning, workforce deployment and resource allocation across multiple project sites.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Take ownership of customer communication, escalations and resolution of project-related issues.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, procurement, purchase orders, invoicing, claims, logistics and documentation.
• Monitor project and operational KPIs, prepare management reports and drive performance improvements.
• Manage NCRs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA and 8D problem-solving.
• Ensure proper quality documentation, inspections, testing, commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Support regulatory submissions, inspections, certification and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Fire Protection | M&E | Project Delivery | Customer Quality

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations / Project Manager to manage project operations, customer relationships, quality, resources and project delivery across multiple projects in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience

• 10–15+ years of relevant experience in Operations / Project Management.
• Strong Singapore construction/project experience preferred.
• Experience in Fire Protection, M&E, Building Services or related construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and multiple site teams.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience managing project budgets, procurement, manpower, subcontractors and project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, NCR management, RCA and CAPA.
• Familiarity with BCA, SCDF Fire Code, BizSafe and ISO compliance will be advantageous.

The CV specifically demonstrates management of 50+ projects annually involving fire shutters, fire curtains, rolling shutters and seating systems, including planning through commissioning and final handover.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong Operations & Project Management background.
• Risk Management / BizSafe certification preferred.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, CRM, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage demanding clients and multiple priorities.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in someone who can function as the overall Operations Manager, rather than only managing individual construction sites.
