Job summary

JOB LIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified fire protection engineer to lead design, installation and commissioning for island-wide projects from our East Macpherson office.

Ideal candidates hold an ITE/dip or degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in fire protection design and execution within M&E contracting, and solid knowledge of SS codes and SCDF standards. FSM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Standards (SS) codes and SCDF standards.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Fire Protection Systems design & execution within M&E contracting projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repair work for sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, and fire pump systems.
• Ability to design layouts, schematics, and technical submissions in compliance with SS and SCDF standards.
• Coordinate with facility management clients for maintenance scheduling.
• Supervise a small team of engineers or site supervisors for fire protection systems.
• Ensure project work is executed in compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and authority requirements.

My client is a very established fire protection contractor who do fire maintenance for whole island wide for decades.
Office (East Macpherson)
Salary depends on experience, managerial role is also open if the candidate has experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance and repair work for sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, and fire pump systems.

• Ability to design layouts, schematics, and technical submissions in compliance with Singapore Standards (SS) fire codes, SCDF regulations and resolve technical queries.

• Coordinate with facility management clients for maintenance scheduling.

• Supervise a small team of engineers or site supervisors for fire protection systems related matters.

• Ensure project work is executed in compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and authority requirements.

Requirements:

• ITE, Dip or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  Minimum 2-5 years working experiences in in Fire Protection Systems design & execution within M&E contracting projects.

  Strong knowledge of Singapore Standards (SS) codes and SCDF standards.

• Track record hands on site experience complete with testing and commissioning with sprinkler, hydrant, dry riser, wet risers, hose reel, fire alarm systems, etc.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, main contractors, clients and subcontractors.

Candidates with FSM cert will be an added advantage
