BUSINESSASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager with a proven on-site track record in Building, Civil or Marine Infrastructure.

You will lead project teams, manage client relations, control budgets and ensure timely delivery with strict quality standards. Candidates should have 10–15 years of experience delivering large-scale construction projects and a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Qualifications

• Education: Preferably Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from recognized universities.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience delivering projects in large-scale A1 construction maincontractor organizations.
• Strong on-site track record in Building, Civil or Marine Infrastructure; includes large-scale MRT, PUB/Marine Infrastructure or high-value buildings.

Responsabilités

• Lead project team to complete projects on time, within budget and quality standards.
• Manage relationships between Company and Client(s).
• Line management of employees and drive productivity and performance.
• Oversee job profitability and resource management on assigned projects.
• Ensure safety practices and effective communication with authorities and consultants.
• Monitor site progress against master programme with no delays and proper sequencing.

Senior Project Manager / Project Manager

Background

Our clients are global/regional MNCs or large local corporations in Construction industry. Well-established over decades with solid reputation. Their large variety of projects covers public and private sectors, across building, civil, marine and/or infrastructure segments. They are looking for astute Senior Project Managers or Project Managers with strong on-site track record in Building, Civil Infrastructure or Marine Infrastructure construction projects.

The Position

The Senior / Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team to complete projects on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards and expectations of client and relevant authorities. A summary of the generic responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Provide technical expertise as required on project.
• Responsible for managing and positively developing relationships between Company & Client(s).
• Line Management of employees and driving employees’ productivity and performance.
• Responsible for managing job profitability of assigned projects.
• Guidance on team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards.
• Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance to master programme with no delay in works and proper work sequencing.
• Efficient management of resources and materials.
• Excellent client facing with strong people orientation and ability to build and develop positive relations with authorities & consultants.
• Possess strong skill in developing and delivering effective communication to different audiences.
• Able to lead and inspire high performance, to ensure project plans are implemented on a timely, efficient and effective basis.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

• Education: Preferably Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from recognized universities
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in delivering projects within large-scale A1 construction maincontractor organizations
• Strong on-site track record in Building, Civil or Marine Infrastructure. Preference for large-scale LTA MRT, PUB/Marine Infrastructure or Residential/Commercial/Institutional/ High-Specifications Industrial Building projects of Contract Sums above SGD200Million

Technical Competencies

• Technical expertise and knowledge in Civil / Structural Design and Constructability
• Administration with established experience and proven ability to deliver projects
• Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects from start to hand-over
• Extensive experience within a construction environment demonstrating accountability and ability to meet commitments through key internal stakeholders, clients and staff at all levels
• Microsoft office skills and in particular, use of Microsoft Project
