Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks a Project Manager to lead waste infrastructure projects within the Waste Residues Treatment Branch. You will plan, execute and monitor projects, coordinating with consultants, contractors and government stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years of PM experience in infrastructure projects, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
• 5-7 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure project management.
• Good written and spoken communication skills and analytical skills.
• Enjoy thinking strategically, planning and applying analytical reasoning in the area of Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control projects that are assigned to you.
• Plan and manage funding and budget planning cycles for projects.
• Obtain planning approval and funding support.
• Draft project specifications to bring on board consultants and contractors.
• Manage the procurement processes to appoint project consultants and/or contractors.
• Liaise and work with stakeholders such as consultants, contractors, recycling companies, industry associations, Agencies and NEA departments.
• Review and coordinate engineering designs, specifications, drawings and technical submissions to support the implementation of assigned projects.
• Work on ad-hoc work, projects helmed by the department and events as assigned.
